Dr. Brock listened to my concerns and gave helpful advice. He has done well by me. I highly recommend.

After months of minor surgeries, I was referred on to Dr. Brock for a more substantial "fix all" surgery. I didn't like him from the start (he didn't seem even remotely interested in my health or pain). When I would tell him what my symptoms and pains were, he would say, "that's not a symptom of what you have." As if that makes the symptoms disappear (and yes, my new specialist says it absolutely is a symptom! No question about it). After the surgery, I was in EXTREME pain--much more pain than I was in when I passed my last 2 kidney stones. I'm still in pain now, over 3 months after the surgery. According to Dr. Brock, pain is to be expected and it's perfectly normal that that I cry when I go to the bathroom due to this pain. Both the pre-op and post-op appointment was a complete waste of time; for the post-op, I ended up being charged a copay (which is perfectly fine and to be expected) plus $120 for a single urine test that they never followed up on even though I had a severe… kidney infection. I finally had to go back to my GP to handle the infection and go to a new specialist for pain. I wish I had never gotten the surgery done, my life would have been much better without it. After giving it a lot of thought, I've decided not to pay the bills for the post-op appointment test and will so love taking them to court if they transfer it to a collection agency; after paying Gainesville Urology over $4000 while on a limited income, I'm in more pain now than I have ever been before.
