From the front desk to all staff and of course Dr. Cavanaugh. Professional, courteous, efficient. Absolutely No smoke or mirrors, just excellent job well done . Sight restored to better than I anticipated. Less than a month since surgery, can read without glasses and see so much clearer. Would highly recommend Dr. Cavanaugh's services including the surgical center to anyone needing eye surgery for any issue. Thank you much!

Staff was excellent and very kind. The doctor however was very arrogant. Clearly very irritated by my husbands care of his eye. Instead of explaining how and why my husband needed to be taking care of his eye a certain way he just spoke to him very rudely like he did something to purposely anger him. When he finished with him he said your done and walked out.

Both doctors were great. Dr. Cavanaugh was wonderful. He gave me back my sight. Thank you doctor. Love you for that. The only thing I did not care for was at Deer Creek Surgery. There was a chatty Cathy talking non stop during the surgery to Dr Cavanaugh which made me nerves. I wanted to tell her to save it until after the surgery. That was the first surgery I ever had and I did not want to hear about their ski trips. I wanted all my doctor's attention on my eye.. But I would recommend him to anyone in a heart beat. In fact, we already have. The staff was warm and helpful, professional. Thanks to you all.....

I have had 5 cornea transplants, 3 with Dr. Cavanaugh. He is an excellent surgeon, however I could not get the his aftercare when I have a problem. So I am looking for another doctor.

I loved everything about Cavanaugh Eye Center. I had to travel over an hour to the Center but it was recommended so I decided to try it and wasn't disappointed. My eyesight was bad enough that I had to have a staged procedure so it was roughly 3 months before I finally had the LASIK. During the 5 or 6 appointments (including 2 other surgeries/procedures) I had to go to I got to know some of the staff pretty well. The nurses and doctors were knowledgeable, the receptionists were friendly (a good sign of a good doctors office when the employees with maybe the most tedious job in the office are happy), the environment was inviting. Maybe my regular eye doctor was just so subpar that this seemed like paradise but I was extremely happy. Ive already recommended the Center to several people and my surgery was just last week. I made it a point to get online and get the word out to others looking into corrective eye surgery.

Extremely poor bedside manner - during office visits and surgery. If you're looking for a doctor who 'cares', he is not a good choice.
