Dr. Timothy M Cullinane, MD

He’s got me on a handful of meds and when they run out he takes forever to get a refill. He’s got me on an addictive medication and I’ve had to withdraw from it multiple times. You can’t get a response the same day and the state laws prevent you from refilling early, the pharmacist won’t even submit it to the doctor early. I have two prescriptions I struggle to get refilled.

?? Unfortunately, I learn alot about myself after I see this really awesome psychiatrist. He is so much fun to go to. And his intelligence will just make your day.

Dr. C and the other psych intake staff at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital submitted a petition and certificate (PNC) confine me to Elmhurst Memorial Hospital against my will for five days. I came to the ER with symptoms of a blood clot/possible heart attack. He described me in the PNC as "Developmentally disabled and dangerous" because I had "been cooking and burning things at home." I don't know about the rest of you single ladies, but if you haven't burnt at least 3 dishes out of every 21 we're required to make a week, than you must have gone to culinary school. I am a recent breast cancer survivor, so the fact he thought I was "dangerous" to myself or others is laughable. I just got a second chance on life, nothing I do hence forth will jeopardize my second chance at living my best life. When I tried to leave the hospital, I was threatened by three rent-a-cops, Behnke #304, Rohlf #310 and Alfredo Geronimo, PSO. They injected clozipam against my will to "subdue" me after I took… a photo of them making jokes about me in the hallway outside my room. The only way these big health conglomerates can make money from the insurance companies these days is to keep patients confined against their will. And by taking away my cell phone/computer/clothing and keys, there was no way I could physically leave the hospital unless I wanted to walk 10 miles to my grandma's house in a hospital gown and non-slide sockies. If you are a woman, please advocate for yourself and ask for a female doctor, and Dr. C is a classic mansplainer, and interrupts woman before letting them finish an actual sentence. He actually made fun of me for being "weak" when I said I refused anymore IV treatment, because the ER and hospital staff had already blown out 5 of my veins. When I called the police, they said that even though my arm looked like a battered wife, there was nothing they could do for me because I was under the "care" of health professionals.

A horrible doctor. When you need him he’s not there for you. I wound up in the hospital because of him. I had seizures!!

On our initial visit, Dr. Cullinane took a long time to understand our case and provide much needed help. He was very patient, and has a vast amount of knowledge and experience. We are glad we found him.

Dr C has been taking care of my 2 anxiety disorders that had me so scared I thought I'm not gonna make it in this world. I seen him since I was 17 I'm 27 now and he's kept my anxiety problems undercontrol and he doesn't rush or put pressure on you. He listens to your problems and I'd recommend him to anyone who has gone to other psychiatrists out there who just don't care. Dr C after so many years you build a more than a patient doctor relationship he will be as a friend to help out your situation and problems in life just very understanding.

Dr Cullinane is a far superior Dr I have been his patient since 2001 I totally trust his judgement he listens to me and my concerns I couldn't ask for a better doctor...I strongly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a new doctor!!

I will start out with the positive. Dr. Cullinane is a very nice man. Makes sure everything that needs to be talked about is taken care of. Which is why I stay with him. His office is another story. They will not make a first visit appointment without a down payment. Prescriptions are so hard to get refilled. and a two hour wait is not uncommon. But once I go in and start to talk to him I begin to forget all the negative and remember the reason I'm here is to get better and I think he does a wonderful job.
