Dr. Timothy R. Garofolo was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, where his family still resides. He attended Nebraska Wesleyan University for his undergraduate studies, double majoring in Biology and Psychology. He then attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry from 1998 until 2002.
After completing his dental studies, he was accepted into a General Practice Residency at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Garofolo finished his residency in 2003 and shortly thereafter, he passed the California Board Exam and received his California Dental License.
In July of 2003, Dr. Garofolo moved to San Diego and worked in a few dental offices as an associate. Then, in April of 2007, he purchased The San Diego Dentistry Studio from a former dentist. As the owner of his practice, he is committed to providing patients with high quality dental services and care.
In his spare time, Dr. Garofolo says that he, “enjoys …traveling, photography, music, painting, and frustrating sports, like golf.†He also surfs and snowboards.
