Dr. Geiger was friendly and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything

Dr Geiger always makes you feel like he has all the time in the world for you. He's always making sure you don't have more questions and that you understand everything. He and his office staff have always made me feel comfortable and that my condition will be addressed to their best ability. Dr Geiger personally called me after I submitted a message through the portal to answer a question for me. This alone is huge, it was so nice to talk to him and not have to have the nurse play the middle man. The nurses however have always been very prompt to respond to my messages and have been great with scheduling and any other needs I have had. I am so grateful for this office and all that Dr Geiger and Tonna McCutcheon have done for me.

Every Interaction I have had with Dr Geiger has been wonderful. He never makes you feel rushed, is always willing and patient to listen and answer questions, always asks if I have questions and never appears to be bothered by explaining things.

Great care was given. Appreciate the time spent explaining things to me and my wife.

I have never met anyone more arrogant or flawed. His approach to medicine is mind boggling. It is comprehensible that he has a license to practice after failing in my surgery not only once, twice but three times. Each time becoming more frustrated when I complained of pain. No bedside manner, no concern for his patient. The physician should not be trusted.

I ended up with a severe postop infection after ostomy placement, and not only did the ostomy not heal well, but I had almost daily bag leaks even with years of experience managing my own ostomy and the support of his ostomy team. Less than ten years later, I had to have the stoma surgically revised. A few months later, he performed another surgery. My bladder shut down temporarily, requiring a Foley with a leg bag and then intermittent cathing for a few months after surgery. The surgical site itself is still draining. That said, he was incredibly kind and respectful in every other circumstance. BUT my surgeries had tons of complications despite him claiming to be a perfectionist, so I can't recommend him.

Dr. Geiger and his CRS team did a remarkable job diagnosing a severe problem I was experiencing. I was transported from a regional hospital with severe bleeding. and in a matter of a few hours, had clearly reviewed my options with me, set my expectations for the procedure and expected recovery. It all went like clockwork. In fact the recovery period was quite short and I required no additional pain medication beyond a Tylenol that was recommended. My sincere thanks to the Vanderbilt surgical (Clinic) team and follow-up care from the nursing staff.
