How we got our second child. Somehow now the child herself can explain the circumstances of her birth better than I can. Very successful treatment.

Where do I start. After 4 miscarriages we came to see Dr Gelety. He told us trying naturally before we knew a cause was reckless abandoned but I left the first visit with a script for clomid. Refers to periods as "pooping it out". Preformed invasive exams before looking at my chart. Told me I didnt need to see a genetic counselor when my karoytype said on to. Told me I wouldn't have kids without him and I know have 2 naturally conceived children. He thinks he's gods gift to women and is soooooo not. Nurses need sensitivity training as well. You dont tell a woman not to cry on one of the worst days of their lives.

I have total confidence in Dr Gelety and his professionalism. He listens to the individual and takes the available science to make a course of action.

I have been to several RE, I can say I was impressed that I did not have to wait 3 months for an initial consultation.We were seen within an hour of our appointments which is unheard of. Dr.Gelety cut to the chase and was honest about my prognosis.Being that we are at the end of our journey, I really appreciate his no sugar coating approach. We drive 4.5 hours from Texas for every appointment and feel it's worth it.

Run. My initial impressions of Dr. Gelety were good. After watching an incident where his behavior paralleled a toddler throwing a temper tantrum, I realized this was not the type of person I would want to entrust my body to. If you want to visit the fastest drive-through IVF factory, then his practice might be right for you. If you want to be treated like a person by a physician who values your health, values and well-being, find another doctor. He is a self-serving, money grubbing, self-absorbed, old-school doctor who sees himself as a god.

There medical assistant Gina always makes me and my husband forget the stress we are undergoing and always is so helpful and always returns our calls. Regardless to say she is better then the NP Marta. Marta is always confused and only confuses us yet Dr. Gelety and Gina are a great team together.

The staff at Dr. Gelety's office are difficult and unfriendly. Many of times I felt rushed on the phone when I had questions. Marta was friendly and patient with us but does seem careless. On the weekends, all couples come in at the same time and in no order at all, they begin pulling them back to undergo their procedures. The other reviews regarding the office only being interested in money is accurate. Dr. Gelety does have a different personality and I could understand why some believe he doesnâ??t have good bedside manners. I also would have to agree that there are inconsistencies with prices and charges. I paid for 6 months of storage but used my vials well before the time expired and reordered new vials but had to repay for storage. This was not made clear initially and doesnâ??t make sense. Overall my experience was not good, I wouldnâ??t recommend anyone to go here. I did end up pregnant but the experience was not good.

What an intense and stressful 16 months of trying to conceive. My wife and I have been together for about 5 years, and in our third year, before we turned 30, we decided to try and make a baby. Being that we are both females, we knew that we would require professional medical help. After being recommended to Dr. Gelety by our primary care manager and two of our close friends that successfully got pregnant, we decided to give him and his staff a try. I feel as though we could probably give a how-to-class on everything involved in the IUI as well as the IVF process. We tried IUI three times, and IVF four times. We had a chemical pregnancy which sucked, and almost made us stop trying. We are presently 7 weeks pregnant with dizygotic twins. Dr. Gelety and Marta ran tests, performed surgeries, and we are over the moon about the upcoming new additions to our family. The best thing about Dr. Gelety is he knows what he is doing. He is knowledgeable, and after 7 tries he gave us what we want… the most right before the holidays. The things we complain about are time management, communication between the staff, and bedside manner. Itâ??s already a frustrating process, so when things donâ??t go right it just adds to the frustration and stress of it all. For something that is so near and dear to our hearts and so expensive we expected more compassion. However, what Dr. Gelety lacks for in bedside manner, Marta is very sweet and caring and also knowledgeable. At the end of the day, we got what we paid for. So, we are eternally grateful. Thank you all.

I started seeing Dr. Gelety in the fall/winter of 2013. We had been trying to conceive for years. He diagnosed us, and we started our first cycle of IVF. I was not very hopeful given both of our fertility issues, but I got pregnant on our first IVF cycle and now we have a beautiful little baby girl. We have gone back to him several months ago to try for our second. He is caring, efficient, and knowledgeable. His office staff are friendly, professional, and facilities are also clean and comfortable. It's really been a great all around experience for us. I have to go to their office once a week now and it doesn't feel like a chore like going to other doctor offices.
