Dr. Timothy Scott Grange, MD

I had been a patient for 10 years, however in the past 2 years as he has changed his focas to addiction, he has quit listening to his patients. It's become a one way road.

He saved my life. After years of misdiagnosis he was the first doctor to help me explore all possibilities by ordering sleep studies, blood tests, MRIs, and even psychiatric tests which led to a correct diagnosis, and then he proceeded to come up with a treatment plan that was uniquely situated to my complex issues. He also helped me get off of heavy narcotic pain medication after years of dependency, however he allowed me to decide when and how to manage it, and I never felt judged by him.

very dissatisfied with this Dr and visit.. was told to answer 25 questions on the computer.. received bill with a charge for $130 for answering questions.. Was never told there would be a charge. Waited an hour in room for the Dr. Was told I needed to join a gym or swimming class.. If I felt well enough to do those why did I need a DR?

Him and his doctor partners are the best all 3 of them are the best team and the staff is excellent I can't say enough good things about them I won't go anywhere else

I have had 2 appointments with him. His staff is wonderful and he is very attentive. However, with both appointments, I had 2 prescriptions that were supposed to be sent to the pharmacy that never made it there, and 1 that was the wrong medication. Trying to get in contact with them to get this fixed has been a major hassle.

the biggest issue with Dr Grange is his medical assistant does not get back to patients in a timely manner I have to always wait two to three days for a medication pre auth because they don't seem to care. I ran out of a medication three months ago and they still have not sent the pre auth over to my insurance company who told me it takes less than two minutes to do.

If you are a recovering drug addict and you need pain relief .this would be your perfect doctor. On the other hand if you have absolutely no history of abuse in any category whether its drugs pills or alcohol And you have been in chronic pain for more than a decade, this is definitely not your doctor. Although he seems to be attentive what you say and what he hears are two different things. Based on the current statistics Women 42 54 years old Fat Excetera Are the new target zones of opioid abusers. I have been seeing him for years and even though I have repeatedly said the medication he had me on not only did not take care of my pain but it was not Good with my other medications, he insisted I stay on it anyways. Finally I just got tired of compromising and agreeing with every single thing he wanted. I jumped through so many hoops I feel like I've earned my circus license. In order to get the correct pain medicine I practically had to beg and plead my case with what I know to be… Correct data. What was his response? Okay I'll put you on something that works but I'll put you on one quarter of the level that will work. At this point I thought, that's not going to help my pain at all just like this other medication. Because obviously it's too low a level. After being in chronic pain for 17 years plus obviously I'm a tolerant person. But the level I was trying to get was no higher than the level I had been receiving for the past 13 years before I saw him. I don't understand why he will not treat me appropriately. I specifically asked what his concern was. He lied to my face and told me that he did not prescribe or believe in the medication that I felt worked for me. I know this is a lie because even though he does not want patients to share their treatment, there are some patients who just offer it up without Being asked. So I have spoke to other patients Usually men and found out Is that they get the medication I require without a problem. But because I fall into the range of 4o to 54 female, so I'm not fat by any means. I am denied that medication or at least at a level that will actually work. He has no reason for this unless it is just judgemental or biased or opinionated. I still am not quite sure what the real issue is, I did receive my records And I read them and they were so inaccurate it was as if I was reading about someone else. Numerous patients at my last appointment were talking with each other, all of them saw APA under Dr Grange but not Dr Grange. They offered me their condolences and said it will be a cold day in !@#$ l before he treats you. You know what it's still pretty warm here and I obviously I'm not being treated for the situation. There's not much I can do since he not only does not meet me half way he is actually punishing me for speaking up. He is punishing me for being an intelligent woman and knowing the statistics and knowing the issues and being currently updated and calling him on his bias. I hope that the doctors I have interviews with Are not anything like him. Like I said if you had a past with addiction problems he's your man. But if you have moderate to severe pain, he will treat you like a drug addict and deny anything and everything that helps you. Hundreds of dollars have been paid to this man by my insurance and yet He has taking me to a pain relief point that is the equivalent of 15 years ago. Sometimes I think I would be better off dead. But I'm here so I can report This doctor does not get it. Good luck with him I can't wait till the day I no longer have to see his face.

I have been a patient of Dr. Grange for almost 6 months. I came to him after a car accident. Initially I was given opioids from other dr.'s which is not good for long term use for me, having a history of addiction. When I initially went in I was nervous because of my using history, though I was 4yrs sober at this time. Although I had fear of judgment, I decided to be completely honest with him so we could work out the best option/plan for me. To my surprise I was met with understanding and respect. He (and his staff) never once treated me like some "drug seeker" or anything of that nature. He has always taken the time to listen and show care in my recovery. Offering me healthy options and not just shoving pills down my throat. I would definitely refer him to people who really want to get better...

Dr. Grange has an incredible bedside manner. He will sit there and listen to everything you say. He has the most attractive smile on the planet. But the one thing Dr Grange does not do well, is treat patients with chronic pain. I have been going to him for quite some time now, years to be exact. I have told him repeatedly the medication he has prescribed not only does not work for me That has undesirable side effects. Nothing has changed at all. My pain level is between 7 and 9 daily. I kept a journal I pass all his tests. I try everything they've told me to try. It does not seem to matter to him in the least.So What is he taking care of then? Apparently Dr Grange has taken it on himself to cure the world of what he thinks are drug addicts. He must believe that all his patients are drug addicts. I for one I have never been an addict of any kind. I don't drink alcohol at all and I don't smoke and I don't smoke weed or eat weed and I don't do any other street drugs never have. So why am… i thrown in the pile with the rest of the people he thinks he has rehabilitated?? So incredibly lazy to prescribe the same medication for everyone without the knowledge that medication affects everyone differently. Useless beyond useless looking for a new doctor now!!!
