I have been a patient of Dr. Hooper for 12 plus years now. I always get excellent care. Above and beyond they all go to make you healthy and happy. He shares knowledge and explains everything to me. He’s always there when I need him. He is my GP and treats me for my autoimmune pain and other things. I’m always treated with respect.

I’ve been Dr Hooper’s patient almost 10 years. We began with a rocky ish relationship. His integrity, time spent during every visit, & complete professional & personal caring he exhibits for every visit won me over. I’m a juvenile diabetic & I’ve had several less than stellar experiences with MDs especially up In this rural area. I’ll admit I’m a tough patient to appease but Hooper’s patient care & professional competence finally won me over. He’s a straight shooter & I’m grateful he is my medical provider. He practices good medicine.

Dr. Hooper has cared 10 years for my son who has a progressive condition who requires a lot of time and effort. Dr. Hooper never doesn't have the time. He is professional, compassionate, and knowledgable, and a patient advocate. He connects with him in a personal way that builds confidence in everyone. He listens and takes time. He sees us through whatever profound challenge we are facing and we are so grateful. His staff is an absolute delight! They are always so helpful and ready to "walk the extra mile" no matter how busy they are. Sonora Primary Care is an asset to our community!!

Dr. Hooper is very knowledgeable and eager to help. It's obvious treating the whole person versus singular complaints is what drives him. Very helpful staff as well.

Will start off great treatment then doesn't listen to your real issues going on its a joke, doesn't listen & don't want to either he's more interested in himself. Doesn't treat you when you're in pain Wow. Gives excuses can't even understand him. Seems at first like he really cares, wants to help but in the end ??? Just don't get it/this place.... & expect to Wait......

Raises prices outrageous quack takes advantage of if you don't have $$$ even though he says he wants to help people he's helping his own pocket Puts you on meds where he knows that you have to keep going back to see him then takes you down on meds doesn't seem like he knows you or what's he doing. He's been on probation by the way for incompetence & much more poor follow up Just look him up Probation that's a problem & he's passing it on to his loyal patients. Wait time can be 1 1/2 hours

Dr Hooper and his staff are by far THE WORST "professionals" I have encountered in my 45 years of life. The doctor only seems interested in himself, that's mostly what we had talked about in MY appointment was him, his family, and how cute his nurse girls were. I feel bad for the girls that work for Mr. Hooper I couldn't imagine having to work under such a perverted pig. Our first visit was about neck pain and without even suggesting any type of mri he went straight to pain medication. I refuse to take narcotics and he seemed to get very upset about it and the appointment was shortly over after that. The boy Shawn seems like he's on meth or some kind of upper, and the girls up front were extremely rude and almost seemed disrespectful. The nurse that took me into a room seemed nice but didn't really seem to know what she was doing. Patient beware! Definitely not recommended.

DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND SO ARE THE STAFF. THE M.A. SHAWN LOOKS LIKE A BURNT OUT PILL ADDICT. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE
