Dr. Timothy John Jordan, MD

When I called to make an appointment with Dr. Jordans office, the receptionist asked what insurance I had. I first told her Cigna, then she said they did not accept Cigna. I told her I also had BCBS, she said that was fine and my copay would be $30. Given that I mentioned Cigna first, that should have told her Cigna was primary, not that I would have even known this would be an issue. When I showed up for my appointment several weeks later, after taking my 13 yr old out of school in the middle of the day, end of the school year and drove across town, they told me BCBS would reject my claim because Cigna was my primary and they didnt accept Cigna. Not one person offered to call my insurance to check, offered an apology or anything to help rectify the situation. They had no remorse for the situation they had caused. They acted as if I should have known better. When I asked if they could attempt to do something, their response was "What would you like us to do, give it to you for free!"… They did tell me I could pay 325.00 out of my pocket! This was coming from the manager of the office, which practically came out in shorts and a tank top. Her appearance was so unprofessional, not to mention her attitude. I told them they could have atleast offered to contact my insurance since they were sure that it would be rejected. She claimed she offered, but it was I who asked for the phone. I read all the reviews, but decided to go anyways. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS...........THEY ARE TRUE!!!!!!!!!! I didnt even get to meet the Dr. and see if he was as people claim, but if he is aware of his front office and their attitude towards clients, then it doesnt say much for him and Im glad I didnt waste anymore of my time. FIND ANOTHER DR. Do not waste your time with this office, there are nicer people out their willing to be helpful.
