Im not one to write a review but I was so impressed with what I went though that I wanted to let everyone know. From the start of me calling, Angela in the office could not have been more pleasant and made me feel like everything was going to be okay. She went over and above to assure me, she cared. Appt. time, Carmen called me in and took my vitals and listened to me and took notes and assured me Dr would take care of me. Dr came in and was in no hurry to leave until all my questions were answered. (So yes, I was late getting in for my appt but he takes the time with his patients) and Erika his asst. , let me know I could call if I had any questions after. I would recommend this office and Dr to everyone....

Dr. Jung is incredible! He is compassionate, knowledgeable and accurate in diagnosis and treatment. Yes...the wait time to see him is probably longer than many doctors, but he is a SPECIALIST! When you do see him, he never makes you feel rushed. My concerns are always addressed and he is sincere in his review.

I was referred to Dr. Jung by my medical group for surgery to restore hearing loss. I waited months to get in for the initial consult, which meant I had to endure difficulty at work due to the hearing loss. When I arrived for the appointment, the parking lots adjacent and nearby were full so I had to drive further away through the nearby neighborhood to find parking, putting me 1/4 mile away from the office. When I arrived, the waiting room was full and I got the last open seat. Shortly thereafter, more patients arrived and had to stand as there were not enough seats. I noticed a sign indicating that patients might not be able to see the doctor at their appointment time due "emergent" issues the doctor might have to deal with. In response to my query, the receptionist informed me there were 4 patients in front of me. It was 1/2 an hour after my scheduled appt. before that number dwindled to 3 indicating my wait might be 2 hours. As I had to leave an hour and a half after the… appointment time to return to work for an important meeting I could not miss, I had no choice but to cancel the appointment. The receptionist said it would be two months before I could get another appointment. I called the office of my referring physician (with Healthnet) and reported the problem, indicating that I did not have confidence in the doctor based on the lack of professionalism I found in the waiting room, and asked for a new referral. Right after, I called Kaiser (I have both Healthnet and Kaiser) and got an appointment to see a specialist in one week (compared to the months it took me to get the initial referral to Dr. Jung, and then the months I had to wait for the appointment with Jung!) As my employer and I have jointly paid months and months of health insurance premiums to Healthnet without my being able to get actual timely medical access, and my hearing affects my ability to do my job, I also reported this problem to my company's health benefits facilitator.

After arriving to our appointment the front desk informed me the Doctor was at a meeting and would be 30-45 late. We were seen 40 minutes after our appointment time. The Doctor came into the room and proceeded to examine my 8 year old son without telling him what he was doing he quickly numbed his nose with spray and cauterized his nose. No bedside manner was given to my scared and nervous son. He made no eye contact with me, spoke so soft I could barely hear him and left the room while I was still asking questions. This was the worst experience EVER!

Highly recommended! Dr. Jung performed a very complicated surgery on my son's inner ear. 6 weeks later my son's hearing was restored to 100%. Very caring. An expert in the field. Be prepared to wait when you visit as he is in demand.

Dr. Jung has previously performed a surgical procedure on my ear and I have since had some serious problems. When I ask him questions, he only replies ""Uh-huh" or "O.k." My problems have gotten much worse and, although highly recommended, I dread going back to him for further consultation. I will be looking for a new doctor as my problem, Meniere's Disease, has greatly worsened.

During my first visit, I was skeptical as I was worried about my condition and it seemed we did not communicate well. After I had the necessary tests performed, the office staff set me up for surgery and I felt more comfortable with the doctor. He removed a tumor (Dr. Jung said the size of a golfball)which was behind the tonsil area. He did an excellent job and my follow-up visits went well. I would recommend him to anyone who needs his services.
