I should have known I was in trouble when I waited an hour and a half for my appointment and he walked in and did not even apologize or give a reason. My knee required arthroscopic surgery, which should have been 4-7 days recovery. Something went horribly wrong and two weeks later, I still could not walk. The follow up appointment consisted of him telling me, "this is your problem, not mine." I was in so much pain, I was crying when I went into his office and he turned his back on me and just waited for me to stop crying. I seriously wondered if I reminded him of a horrible ex-wife or maybe his worst enemy because his bedside manor was right there with Attila the Hun. A week after that, he told me on the phone to pick up my records and get a second opinion. I went to Mayo clinic, where I was immediately told that I needed a full knee replacement. The surgery went great and I had no complications. Dr. Lane has a serious problem with admitting he screwed something up!
