Okay staff but awful doctor! First time he met my son he tried to convince me to put him on ADD medication and got upset when I said that I felt that 6 was too young for ADD meds and that I wanted to try other options. He said that ADD doesnt work that way. Well my son is 9 now, still has ADD, is not on meds and is doing great. These meds are needed for a lot of kids and people in general, but they should never be pushed down a patient's throat. I saw him a few times after that, wanted to give him another chance....took my son there when he was sick. Im a single mom who had to take the day off and keep my son home from school because my son was that sick and he refused to give antibiotics! That is right people, pushes ADD meds but wont give antibiotics! I work in a doctors office and I am a mom, I know when my kid is sick. I left the office and went straight to urgent care who tested him for strep and sure enough....he had strep and was given antibiotics. I am sure some parents like… him but he is just not the doctor for my son. Good luck!

When I was growing up I saw the same doctor for as long as I can remember in his own clinic. I prefer the smaller type practice vs. a larger clinic where you don't know who is going to see you and they know virtually nothing about about you. Dr. Lorenz is great with my kids, takes time to answer my questions and I don't feel rushed. His nurses are very friendly and helpful too. This is what I remembered from when I was growing up, and how seeing the doctor should be.
