Communication is Sketchy I only received one call from the doctor and that was right after my momâ??s surgery. There were a lot of unanswered questions, which three weeks later, we were still trying to get answers for. My mom is elderly and was very drowsy from all the medicines and anesthesia, so I was her advocate. She could not comprehend what tests or meds they were giving her or why, and she didnâ??t understand the status of her treatment. There was even confusion about when or where she would be transferred to a different facility. We attempted to get answers to these important questions, but, unfortunately, Dr. McGuinness was never available. A substitute doctor in his firm did return a call but was only able to provide limited information. Communication is the key to trust, and studies have shown that it is of the utmost importance in the delivery of high-quality health care. But communication with this doctor was almost non-existent. I continue to feel uninformed, and I fear… that this feeling of disempowerment will make it difficult for mom to achieve her health goals.

I was a healthy vibrant women who loved the outdoors and did many varies activities. I was the healthiest I had been in 20 years, loved life. Then He butchered me doing a simple procedure that any first year obgyn could do.When complications developed he refused to see me and follow up with the complications. After a year, I'm basically a cripple left in chronic pain. He has no remorse, not a care in the world. He can still do what he wants, yet I'm left to lay in bed all day and my Sunny vibrant personality is now gone. I hate this man and my life and wish to die soon. He took my life from me and never cared to follow up with complications. If this is the chance you want to take with the man that should not be allowed to do surgery on anyone.

My mother had surgery performed by this man - she was never the same afterward, and I mean that in a bad way. I, too would give negative stars if allowed.

Was very nervious going into surgery> My first husband passed away from cancer so kinda had a "melt down". He quieted my fears that brain cancer was different and I was going to be fine. My prognosis was very good! Did not see him for any of my office visits, which his assoc took care ofme, but they were just as great. Very respectful.. Saw him before surgery and after. Was told from the beginning that he was the head surgion, so did not expect to see him. Everyone there was great. Recepionest to every contact. Took care of making my appt to radiolgist too. Made it as painless as possible. I continue to heal and thankful for this group of doctors! Thank u!
