Dr. Timothy Scott Palomera, MD

I absolutely CANNOT recommend Dr. Timothy Palomera or SMASA, and I will NOT be giving them another chance - nor a single penny more out of my pocket. 1) As a medical practice, your time apparently means nothing to them; on more than one occasion, I've sat in their waiting rooms for more than 90 mins after my scheduled appt time. 2) Palomera is a mediocre physician and has been an absolute waste of my time, as he would neither remove/drain a cyst in my knee NOR give me an injection in my hip himself, but rather wanted to refer me to other doctors for those procedures. 3) Rather than take Palomera's referrals, I've sought treatment at an internationally-recognized medical group, but it's now been over a MONTH since that practice requested my medical records from SMASA and there's been ZERO response. 4) On more than one occasion, Palomera has handed me a business card with a hand-written phone number on it suggesting that number will get me directly through to his team. NOT ONCE has… ANYONE ever returned a phone call when I've left voicemails at that number - and I'm not a pain in the rear patient who's been nagging them; I'm just a guy who's fed up with piss-poor treatment from a group that touts itself as something special. In short, DO NOT be fooled into thinking that SMASA's affiliation with the Spurs means a THING for your own care. And be mindful: Palomera will glad hand you like he's a used car salesman, but his words to me have been utterly meaningless.

Dr. Palomera has been my doctor for years and he is one of the best!!!! He knows his specialty in medicine and how to make me feel at ease while a needle enters my knee with NO PAIN.... Thanks, Audrey A. Frederick

I've been a patient of Dr.Palomear for over 10 years, he is so professional, listens to you and always gets the diagnosis correct. He makes it easy to contact him or get in for an appointment in case of an emergency. They still make great doctors.
