Dr. Timothy George Roberts, MD

Dr. Roberts is intelligent, caring, kind and experienced. I highly recommend him. My diagnosis was difficult. He worked hard and so did I. I'm much better.

His nurse is worse than him. Ignorant about the subjects claimed to be specialty. They Just want to put diagnostic labels,to milk your insurance, even if they don’t fit. Adds diagnoses of huge illness to label patient from one comment with no evaluation or any other further investigation. Fifteen minutes every six months is hardly adequate for this. His nurse thinks she’s a doctor and also has no empathy or compassion and questions the truth you give when she has the facts in front of her. They are neither one able to handle anything they can’t put in their tiny scope of a box.

This psychiatrist does not see my loved one often enough. He does not listen to family and what is happening outside hi office. When my loved one was discharged from the hospital too soon with psychiatric problems and medical problems he scolded him and told us to drop him off at a cheap motel. we looked at our loved one who had pitting edema in his legs and chest congestion and couldn.t do it . At some point we asked for counseling for his addictive behavior and Dr Roberts said he was too sick for counseling. Yet when I emailed this psychiatrist to tell him what my loved one was doing he finally emailed back and blamed the family.

If you don't mind waiting for months to see him and then for up to an hour late for your appointment then he is okay. HIS time is all that matters. He is a very warm individual and is very knowledgable. I think he can be off on his diagnosis as he said I was bipolar when other doctors said I was not. He was always uncertain about what medicines to prescribe. He does the shock treatments at his hospital affiliation for what that is worth. I can now not get into see him for 6 months and I out of my medicines for sleeping and anxiety and can't get any until I see him again and it has been a real hardship. I would use a doctor that is more sensitive and timely with your needs.

Dr. Roberts is one of the best in his respective field. He is very skilled, knowledgeable, and patient-friendly. I would recommend his services to anyone.
