From 1977 to 1979 he was medical director for mental health services at Howard County Health Department in Columbia, Maryland. From 1979 to 1982 he was assistant director for student mental health services at Johns Hopkins University. At Fairfax Hospital in Kirkland he was hospital medical director from 1992 to 1999. He developed physician services for inpatient psychiatry at Swedish Providence campus from 1999 to 2002. Since then Dr Rogge has been providing general psychiatric consultation and treatment to adults and adolescents for the Puget Sound region. Areas of expertise include treatment-resistant depression and bipolar disorder as well as depression occurring with chronic pain and addiction. He is certified for buprenorphine detoxification of narcotic dependence.
