Dr. Timothy Clayton Sapp, MD

Had his license taken away for over prescribing drugs. No surprise here. For the record his mother Emma who sat at the desk was awful, messed up prescriptions and never answered the phone.

Will be filing a complaint...can't get medical records. He shut down his office without notiice leaving his patients...so irresponsible. His father did passed away and maybe this had something to do with it but at the very least he could have shut down his office gradually.

If this were 6 months ago I would've given 5 stars. I was seeing Dr. Sapp regularly for 5 years, and I thought he was great. Down to earth, easy to talk to, non judgemental. I actually enjoyed my appointments with him. However just like the other review said, he has abandoned his patients. I went to my scheduled appointment and no one was there. I thought it was understandable, due to covid, and that they must've forgot to tell me they were doing telemedicine for the time being. Not the case, the office is emptied out. Answering machine says "this office is closed "no explanation, and machine is full so you cant even leave a message! I suffer from crippling anxiety and PTSD, I've been managing it with medication (that is very dangerous to stop abruptly) for 5+ years and now I'm on my own. To me that seems like a breach of the hypocratic oath.

I was a patient for over a year, went to a regular follow up and found a paper on the door saying “office closed”, voicemail just says “This Office is closed”, no response to messages left or to refill requests from the pharmacy. This is patient abandonment.

Wait time at first was little long than expected but otherwise he's an incredible doctor. You can tell that he's very very intelligent on many topics not just on the medical side. My instinct knew that he's the kind of doctor that can easily read people which makes it easier for him to connect with his patients. I personally think the reception ist is great. No complaints at all she speaks well and does her job in which I would expect. Great doctor so appreciative that I found him!!

My son was an addict and believe me you could tell. My son would go see Dr Sapp/ drug dealer tell him what drugs he wanted and Sapp would write the prescriptions. Always overwriting Xanax. My son passed away 2 and a half years ago due to a drug overdose and yes large amounts of Xanax in his system. Stay away from this man. Only takes cash or credit cards no insurance. Office lady is his mom. Very shady! I’d give no stars if I could.

Dr. Sapp is a wonderful doctor who listens to what you have to say and doesn't rush you in and out like other doctors do. He is kind and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, the older woman who runs the desk/office is so rude, disrespectful, and nasty that I have to take away 2 stars! She should not be employed in a job where you need to multitask.

Dr. Sapp himself gets 5 stars. I used to take my fiance there. He is a very kind and compassionate doctor. He does not rush you in and out of his office in 15 mins like other psychiatrists do. He listens to what you have to say and is very insightful. The receptionist/office lady gets zero stars, so I rated this office overall as a 3. She never answers the phone when you call. I have called weeks at a time with no answer, yet when you go to the office she is sitting on the computer and closes the window in your face. After the pharmacy could not get an answer either, we decided to see another doctor with a receptionist who answers the phone.

First question he asked me when I sat his office. "How do you sleep?" I responded saying my Dr. of 17 years said "no-one ever died from lack of sleep." I don't know if he enjoys sleep but I am envious of those people that can hit the pillow and be asleep in 3 minutes.

For the first time in my life after 30 yes of working and receiving mental health services Dr T.Sapp is the best Psychiatrist by far .His kind gentle spirit and professionalism is what makes everything their after a reality with a light at the end of a tunnel .I wish I had found him sooner.dont hesitate come see for yourself.
