Dr. Timothy Kurtis Schubert, DO

Dr. Schubert was condescending and mocked our concerns when he did not have an answer to severely elevated lab results not improving over 48 hours. He discharged the patient with no improvement in what he was hospitalized for and informed us that if we chose to stay longer, they would not be doing more blood work or testing until the next day. An Oaklawn nurse shared that he thought Dr. Schubert was disappointed that the drug screen came back negative for cocaine because he was hoping to catch the patient in drug use and explain the elevated lab results. We are very frustrated with how a severe case was treated and his lack of empathy for a frightening situation.

Resently, I was admitted to Oaklawn due to an acute episode of a chronic disorder. Dr. Schubert provided excellent care and his bedside manner made me feel at ease during a trying time. I don't think I could have asked for better or more kind care.
