This doctor is an excellent surgeon. Operated on my 85 year old mother and saved her from excruciating pain in her spine. I also have recommended other people to him with excellent results.

Dr. Smith has operated on me 3 times. Thanks to him, his team, and his excellent talent I am back to living my life of being a mom, wife, and teacher. I recommend Dr. Smith and BWH with 100% confidence.

I was referred to Dr Smith because I had two discs in my neck which had herniated and were pinching the nerve. I was losing function in my arm plus other symptoms. I found him to be very good at explaining what was happening and showing me on my MRI. He explained what had to be done and how he would do it. The surgery was scheduled at Brigham and Womens Hospital pretty quickly. The surgery went very well and it has been a year and I could not be more pleased. I found Dr Smith to be very professional and personable.

Terrible, traumatic surgery, left me with a crushed vertebrae. All the doctors will back him up even the hospital... PLEASE DO NOT HAVE SURGERY AT BRIGHAM AND WOMENS! I also got an infection while in their stay as well. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star.
