Dr. Timothy T Soncrant, MD

The best medical evaluation and support in the USA. I have had many Doctors over the past 70 years. Some doctors rated a 4 or 5, many rated close to a 10. At the David Drew clinic they truly are rated a 10 plus.

I am at odds with many of Dr. Soncrant's practice behaviors:1) Refusing to inform a world-reknown physician that he (Soncrant) had changed the dosage on medication prescribed by the other physician. Continuum of Care anyone?2) Taking 2 - 8 weeks to send lab and imaging test results (was like pulling teeth to obtain them; e.g., two individual, common blood tests took 8 wks).3) Office staff told me he only worked in the office M,W,and TH (part-time). Interesting for a boutique practice.4) RNs didn't bother reading my medical record and would waltz in and ask me why I was there. Converstations about expected blood and imaging tests were ill-documented.5) Physician seems painfully shy.6) I question the level of patient privacy and confidentiality in the office as I heard patient/office personnel discussing medical information while waiting to be seen.7) My intuition/experience says that how one is treated depends on how one is perceived as compared to the area's social/working status.

The polished literature and radio ads for David Drew Clinic belie the experiences I found. Tooks weeks of calling to obtain all lab results. Nurses asked me why I was there because they choose not to read my medical record first. Physician changed dosage prescribed by another physician and chose not to notify the other physician. Question patient confidentiality because when I sat in public area I could hear the discussion between a clinic patient and staff about scheduling a particular procedure. Physician does not seem to work full time at clinic because when I've called I've been told he did not work there on Tuesdays and Fridays. I received multiple form letters about my "membership" fee which did not acknowledge what had already been paid. One hand apparently does not know what the other is doing. My one year fee ended up only covering 11 months. Reason for increase in fees the next year were not specified. Even a health club specifies more than the form letter sent about the very… general nature of what would be investigated/tested/examined during the next membership. Always have the impression that how one is treated is determined by one's social/political/employment standing, but this may be my own hangup.
