Dr. Timothy W. West, MD

I've been a patient of Dr. West for over two years and would highly recommend him. He is great about answering questions, never talks down to me and isn't "I'm going to be your buddy" creepy—just the right amount of cordial, professional and caring. He explained the science behind a couple questions because I asked as well.

Both my daughter and I have a similar medical condition and we went to him and he is an excellent doctor he is very thorough he spent a good amount of time with the visit and he came up with good solutions and the right medication. He was thorough with ordering the right diagnostic test too. The whole practice is great and the office staff is very accommodating. I would highly recommend him.

This doctor had my past diagnosis's written out on a board, for my first visit with him. He asked me if they were all true, (and with the proof in my records,) I said Yes??He called me a liar. I said I was NOT LYING and he called me a liar again. Again I said I am not lying?? Then he came a couple inches from my face, and with a scary, mean voice, he said, “then you are dying!” I got down from the table and left in shock, and crying????

We met Dr. West back in 2015 at Santa Barbara, excellent doctor and person, he really takes the time for everything; to listen, to answer your questions and to explain with detail what is the problem and the action plan. After seeing several neurologists he was the one able to control my wife’s migraine with a simple pill of Verapamil with no side effects, like from previous medications prescribed by other neurologists. Thanks Dr. West!!!

Dr West has helped my family in East Bay at the UCSF out patient clinic in Berkeley. I’m glad he speaks Spanish and is SO helpful. I appreciate him very much. It’s too hard for me to go to San francisco

Smart, current, knowledgeable, pleasant and friendly. Everything anyone could want for a doctor in his field... After having long discussions about treatment protocol, both medication and alternative subjects Dr. West has left quite an impression on me, and will be sorely missed as Academia steals one of the best from us. Dr. Timothy William West has helped me manage and control my Multiple Sclerosis, thank you sir, safe trip on your sojourn North.

He is amazing, funny, inspiring and takes time to listen

I read the previous review and assume that patient is insane. She must be talking about someone else. I know Dr West and have been treated very well in his care. He can bring hope to a dismal diagnosis. I appreciate his concern and his impressive listening skills. He gives great ideas and a plan of action that is actually helpful. He will go the extra mile for his patients. He is one of the few doctors that is a diamond in the rough of Vegas. I hope more patients will show their appreciation for him so he will stay here in the dessert. We are lucky to have Dr West and his unique talents. His staff is very kind and wonderful!

Dr. West spent over an hour with me. He listened and asked questions. He answered my questions. He is a smart, compassionate man and instilled a sense of trust.
