Dr. Timothy Craig Wirt, MD

Went to get a second opinion from Dr wirt and he told me there was nothing wrong with my neck, only mild degeneration, that my pain was something wrong with my arm. Trusted my gut on the first doctor and after fusion surgery my numbness and pain were gone. If I had believed Dr wirt then I would still have my nerves compromised and been in the horrible pain I had still. He also missed my lack of reflexes due to nerve compression on my left side when he examined me. It seems obvious he didn't read my mri which had significant concern from the neurology radiologist in the report - enough so that they called my pcp and told me to go to the hospital immediately for evaluation. Please be careful and get a second opinion if you see this Dr.

Pain free after several years with a pinched nerve. Was back to everything I needed to do the next day. I went from appointment to surgery in a week. Thank you. Hey people bad mouthing him for not working on you, every surgeon should that. Many do if they know it won’t help. I went to an ortho who wanted to do spinal fusion. I would not have been able to do anything but go back for more spinal fusion. Thanks Dr. Wirt. I got cut Thursday and was fly fishing on Sunday.

No, I never had the chance to meet with Dr Wirt. I was informed because in 1994 I had surgery and Dr. Pettine did it he would not see me, I didn't fit in his parameters. I thought the parameters should be that I am disabled, in pain and have been for 27 years I can barely walk or get out of bed to take care of myself. Dr. Wirt is not a fair man. How can you refuse care to someone that really needs it just because 20 years ago a different doctor perform surgery. I was his by a tow truck 27 years ago and haven't had a life worth living since. All I want is to be free of pain and to walk upright is that to much to ask?

I had surgery with Dr. Wirt and he was fantastic. I had a fabulous outcome. Pain was gone right away. I am 5 months post op and still feel great. I tell all my friends about how great a doc he is. He may not have the best bedside manner but he really knows his stuff. He also does not operate on everyone that walks through the door.

Dr. Wirt operated on my spine and a pinched nerve (not sciatica, something else). After two hours (from start to finish) I was able to walk (with no assistance) right out the surgery center.

Like others have said he walked in didn't even look at my Mri and said there is nothing wrong go buy some pot and you will be fine very rude and unprofessional he needs to have his medical license revoked

Dr. Tim Wirt is THE MOST unprofessional 'doctor' I have ever had the displeasure of meeting! What a waste of time and money! He claims to be an expert on the spine?? After I explained to him my health conditions and spinal problems, he told me he had absolutely no advice for me. Not only was he extremely rude and nasty about it, but while explaining all of my health issues all he did was stand over me and stare at my boobs! Dr. Tim Wirt is an unprofessional, egotistical, sexist pervert. He told me he couldn't help, he'd only hurt me. I asked him to explain what he meant by it, and he just said he wouldn't operate on me. I told him that was good news, because who wants to have surgery? I asked for exercise advice or maybe a medication that would help with the pain and he just kept saying "nothing. I have no advice for you". I told him I was referred to him by one of his longtime patients and named that patient. He shrugged his shoulders and said very condescendingly, " I have NO… idea who that is". Talk about a caring doctor who knows his patients! While I was still talking to him he actually opened the door and just walked out of the exam room! I am completely disgusted by the experience I had with Dr. Timothy Wirt! And I've never had a doctor stand over me the entire time; they usually sit down, unless you're on the exam table, which I was not. He did this for a better look down my shirt. Sick, dirty, pervert. The worst part of it all is I am going to be charged for his opportunity to stare at my boobs for 15 minutes while I spoke to him hoping very much that he'd have some advice or treatment plan for my spinal issues! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR HOPE ON THIS DOCTOR..ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE WOMAN!!!

I came from out of town to see Dr. Wirt for a second opinion on my spinal condition. My primary doctor set up the appoint as he wanted to get me in for my second opinion ASAP. When I met with Dr. Wirt he told me nothing was wrong with me and seeing me was a waste of HIS time. Even if he did not feel what he found was as urgent as the first neurosurgeon his lack of professionalism was appalling.

The best there is! He is the most caring doctor that me and my husband has been to in 30 years. I so admire him as a professional and a person. We would highly recommend him to anyone. If you want honesty and caring, he's the one. The staff is pretty awesome too. Thanks for always being there. Jack and Patti
