Dr. Tiva Hanjan

This is the second time Dr. Hanjan properly treated my neck pain. My primary sent me to someone else who did nothing for me and stayed in pain for 3 months. Dr. Hanjan is very good at the right treatment for the pain.

I don’t know whether or not Dr. Hanjan is a good doctor because I had to leave before seeing him. I had the first appointment of the day (8:15 am). After waiting in one of his rooms for 45 minutes, I left telling the nurses that I had waited long enough and didn’t want to reschedule. It is disrespectful to treat patients this way and there Is no excuse for it. I will find another doctor.

I found Dr. Hanjan to be knowledgeable and compassionate. He spent a great deal of time to pinpoint the source of my pain and the proper treatment. Office staff is also great!!

I went to Dr. Hanjan at Community Orthopedic Medical Group (COMG) in Mission Viejo today for the first time and did not know what to expect. This man is one of the best doctors I have ever seen in my life. I have shoulder, neck and lower back problems and went to see him regarding my shoulder pain. He took his time to get a comprehensive history of my problems, did a thorough examination. He sent me for X-ray at the same facility, which took about 15 minutes, examined the x-rays thoroughly, prescribed medicine, and recommended physical therapy at a facility of my choice. I named the physical therapy facility that I wanted to go to, which is not affiliated with COMG (my wife goes there and she speaks very highly of them). He then dictated a lengthy description of my condition for the physical therapy facility to make sure that they understand my problems and exercise caution to avoid exacerbating my problems. I have never seen that before. By the time I got back to my office, I… received a call from the physical therapy facility to schedule an appointment. This is probably the best experience I have ever had going to a doctor and I have seen some terrific doctors in the past. BTW: his staff is also great.

Nice doctor with a good bedside manner. After ordering a x-ray and an MRI he said he didn't know what was wrong with my back or why I had pain in my hip. Said I could try physical therapy again but didn't give me a PT plan. Honestly, a waste of time and money.

My comment on dr. hanjan is that he was able to truly find what was wrong with me which made treating me much more successful. His passion in trigger point injecions saved me. i miss him in the Placentia location and hope he is doing well. thank you, your patient

I have been to many PM&R specialists, and so far, my experience with Dr. Hanjan has been the best. He has spent the most amount of time listening to my problems and has actually prescribed treatments which have significantly improved my condition. I highly recommend him.
