Dr. Tobi Beth Greene, MD

I had cancer and was all scheduled for surgery and guess what? Her office said oh she's not practicing medicine anymore? I'm like what? This cannot be right! I have an appointment for a double mastectomy in Hackensack Hospital. I said what do I do? Where do I go? I'm afraid, can the doctor help me? Please? Please ? Help me? Not a word of why she decided to stop practicing medicine right before she scheduled my surgery. Was this a joke? How could a doctor do this? Would the office call me to explain? Would she get me another doctor? To the person who thinks this is someone not following directions, please look up this dear doctor. See what she did at Hackensack Hospital. Was it her patients fault she left them? Did she leave because we had cancer? How exactly would someone make such a horrible statement? This doctor deserves to have her license pulled.

Great Doctor --wish there were more physicians like Dr Greene . Very knowledgeable and caring. Other reviews I read on this sight are from patients who want to blame anyone but them selves for not following up with the doctor. Dr Greene is a fabulous physician who cares about her patients

This doctor dropped her patients without a word to them. There was no explanation why she left patients without a doctor. Her office staff mumbled around like idiots because they claimed they didn’t know anything. Women scheduled for surgery that she left. Can you imagine a cancer patient waiting for surgery and the doctor is missing in action. My God, that’s not a great doctor. That’s a terrible doctor. How absolutely unprofessional can you be? Now this clown is working again? Really? You left my surgery without an explanation. Your staff said you were no longer practicing medicine??!!!! This doctor is full of herself and has zero reason to be. You screwed up my lumpectomy. Thank baby Jesus you didn’t do my double mastectomy! Shame on you Tobi Greene, you suck!

Did a botched lumpectomy on my breast, left me with a seroma that had to be cut out by another dr. Told me I was "Cancer Free" with no additional testing .Said I needed no additional testing or surgery I demanded a double mastectomy. I opted for a mastectomy, she was supposed to do the surgery then ran away left me no explanation after surgery was scheduled. Oh and by the way... I wasn't "Cancer Free" they found an invasive cancer in other breast.

Anyone who leaves a practice with no explanation to patients should not be in medicine. She caused me much pain and suffering.

There are no words to describe just how wonderful this woman is. She saved my life .... The best breast surgeon by far that HUMC had. I was devastated when she left as were many of her patients. I recently found out she is working in NYC and am planning to see her this summer...

excellent surgeon who understands that medicine is an art. LOVE this doctor. She got me through 2 bouts of Breast Cancer.

Everything and more a patient could need and hope for in a surgeon. Not only the highest expertise as a surgeon but a fantastically bright, compassionate, sensitive human being with a wonderful wit, complemented by an innate sense of modesty. A great loss when Dr. Greene left the John Theurer Cancer Center and is missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Dr. Greene is a very caring and compassionate surgeon. I highly recommend her.
