I had arthroscopic rotator cuff surgery. Dr. Gerhart was great. He explained everything and provided sound post-surgery advice. I had almost no pain after the surgery and took Ibuprofen for two days after. No need for Percocet. It's six days out and I am able to sleep on my back or side, wash, dress, etc. Highly recommend.

I was in so much pain he looked felt my knee, was aware of previous problems said lets try the cortisone shot as suggested from last visit. Once he gave me the shot he said ifit still hurts in 2 days let me know and he left the room, Unaware that I came in a whel chair and did I need to leave in one. I hopped over sat in the chair and took myself out. Good Doc bad bedside manner?? I will have to see

Dr. Gerhart scoped my knee some years ago and totally messed it up. He drilled the hole improperly and my range of motion wasn't even half of what it suppose to be. I had to have three other operations to straighten my knee out. I couldn't even get a proper second oppinion because there are a quite a few ortho doctors who are in his circle. My knee is not where it should be but thanks to a doctor in NC I haven't had too many problems.
