I was referred to Dr. Katz for routine colonoscopy. I called his office for appointment. His secretary insisted that I have first to make appointment for office visit before colonoscopy . Although I did not need office visit, I made one. On appointment day, I waited 90 minutes in waiting room to get into visit room. In examination room, I waited another 30 minutes, a nurse showed up to check my blood pressure and asked an irrelevant question and left. Finally, Doctor showed up. When I asked my questions, he told me he will check this in colonoscopy. When I asked another question, he told me to go to primary care doctor. He cut me off and did not allow me to ask any question. He left the office on rush without even saying a good bye. My office visit took less than 5 minutes. I was shocked for lack of respect and care on the part of Dr. Katz. I thought mandatory office visit was for double-deeping, to charge more money! I got disappointed to see Dr. Katz treated me… without caring for my concerns, time, and patience. I had taken three hours off from my work to see this Doctor. It was a bad experience for me. I thought to share it with others.

Went for my 1st Colonoscopy with Dr. Katz. All went great, no issues. Very efficient doctor and took the time to explain what drugs would be used during the procedure. Very professional at all times.

I met Dr.Katz in the E.R at chomp . That was a very lucky day for me. Had an internal bleed that I was not aware of. Dr. Katz was wonderful to my fam and I. He has been my Dr. for three yrs now. Always warm friendly asks about fam. , and always stays on top of things and communicates with my other Drs. We rec. to all our friends.

Its physicians like this that make you want to become a Christian Science subscriber. The worst professional I may have ever encountered. Your time is meaningless to him. Only his time counts. This office is not about treatment, its about money. It was a disgusting performance of providing medical care. No wonder negligence is 3rd leading cuase of death in U.S.!

Very attentive, compassionate and professional.

When my husband was scheduled for a colonoscopy, Dr. Katz decided he should have an office visit first. We thought "what a waste of time!" but it turned out that he had reviewed my husband's bloodwork over the past 2 years since his last colonoscopy and wasn't sure if the procedure was even necessary, so the o.v. was to see if my husband had any symptoms. Result: no colonoscopy! Impressive that a G.I. would do himself OUT of an expensive procedure, because he didn't think it was in the best interests of the patient!

I waited for over two hours for a colonoscopy. I was then told Iwould have to wait another two hours. Then I was told Dr.Katz would not see me at all. Making a patient wait for four hours is outrageous! Refusing to treat a patient is morally wrong. Fortunately, there are other doctors one can go to who care about their patients.

Excellent experience and if you have GI problems please pick Dr. Katz.
