Wosts experience with a doctor ever and I've been around some pretty bad ones with 4 years in the army. Came in to get a psych referral for so I could start my ADHD medication again having to stop while in the Army. Was instead given a lecture about how a real man would do 20 years in service not 4 throwing accusations my way. Then when using his stethoscope to check my breathing I wasnt breathing fast enough and he scolded me to hurry up and breath faster. Left without getting the referral I needed and instead he gave me a prescription for an antidepressant SSRI without ever even explaining the drug to me. This is not the standard of care and giving out psychotropic drugs to people who dont need or ask for them is dangerous.

TERRIBLE DOCTOR HAS NO BEDSIDE MANNERS AND YOU CAN TELL HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS. HE WILL ONLY SEE YOU FOR ONE AILMENT.HE DOES NOT HAVE ANY COMPASSION FOR THE SICK I WOUDNT BE SURPRISED HE GOES OUT OF BUSINESS SOON.HE MAKES A LOT OF MONEY FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES OF WORK.

DR. OKONS GOES IN THE EXAM ROOM FOR 5 MINUTES AND 3 MINUTES DOING PAPERWORK.WHEN YOU TALK TO HIM ABOUT SPECIFIC ISSUE HE IS READY TO GO TO THE NEXT EXAM ROOM. HE NEEDS TO LISTEN TO HIS PATIENTS SO HE CAN GET A BETTER DIAGNOSIS AND UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THEM.DR. OKONS ALSO NEEDS TO TRAIN HIS STAFF TO BE MORE COURTEOUS TO THE PATIENTS .

I have no idea how he keeps medical license

This was once a great Dr. to me but now it's horrible. The new staff are always clueless especially where you check in. My mother had an appointment to be checked with their partner up stairs. She literally sat a whole hour before the lady up stairs called to the receptionist see had she checked in and the receptionist say oh I didn't know she was going up there. Dr. Okons is always in a rush with you not taking real time out with you like he used to. Definitely looking for another Dr.

In my opinion, not a very good doctor. If you ask him questions he gives you text book answers. He has no bedside manner and basically doesnt treat his patients like they are patients . . . they are just dollars to him. I found his staff to more helpful then he was. I am looking for another doctor.

This happened about two years ago. I came in for a check up because I've been feeling sick and then he looks at my arm and tells me I Ned surgery to remove warts that might be cancerous. So I went through that, came back to get stitches taken out. I remember I had.a.bandage on my arm over the area and it stuck so well that it would rip my skin. I was trying to take it off, then he goes ahead and rips it off. Needless to say, it hurt. Now he said the warts wouldn't grow back, but they did. I'm trying to avoid going there anymore...
