Dr. Todd Christensen, MD

Dr. Christensen was amazing. He did an amazing job. I've been dealing with this problem for years and then I see him in one visit and I'm literally able to walk like a normal human being again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the organization and planning with which my arthroplasty was handled.

If the conversation ever will arise in regards to a fantastic orthopedic surgeon, I always recommend Dr. Christensen. He's got a great disposition about himself making me feel very cared for.

Dr. Christensen was very fast in his visit with me. I assume he must have a lot of patients to get through. He did not suggest, at this time, any treatments but just a decision of MRI and further study, vs injection of cortisone now, which he said might actually hinder healing. That was not a hard decision for me. I assume after the MRI he will discuss future treatment with me, in a more detailed manner.

My care provider sits down and focuse on me to listen to my concerns.

I liked the way the doctor presented the options.

Dr. Christensen did not seemed rushed and explained details and listened to my questions.He was patient, kind and understanding.

Had been living with a torn ACL for many years and had finally decided to have it replaced on my doctor’s recommendation. Immediately following surgery I knew something was very wrong. My pain was very intense, there was grinding and clicking as well. After a few days in agony I called his office for advice, he had me come in to look at my stitches, and told me everything was healing normal. I implored to him in near tears that this pain was not normal and something was very wrong (I’ve had two acl replacements on my other knee) he smirked at me and said “if my pain was so bad maybe I should go to the hospital and get hooked up to an IV.” I followed his orders completely regarding physical therapy. He never gave follow up orders to my therapist. He left me in my walking cast locked straight for 6 weeks...which should have only been 1 week. He made continuous mistakes with my after care. When I reached out to another surgeon for advice he was appalled. When I called his office after… receiving an additional MRI I learned dr. Christensen had abuptly left town and is now practicing in Missouri. I am now under the care of another surgeon and have a revision surgery coming up. Please stay far away from this doctor.
