Dr. Todd Michael Derreberry, MD

Dr. Derreberry is very caring and easy to talk to. I feel that he really cares about his patients and wants to find the best treatment possible for long term success. I highly recommend him and this practice!!

I have been under the care of a few psychiatrists for 35 years, primarily in FL. Once I relocated here, I asked a friend of mine who is a nurse for over 30 years in this area who she could recommend as a new psychiatrist. Without any hesitation, she recommended Dr. Todd Derreberry. I will tell you why. His practice is different than other practices that are part of the huge, health organizations. They determine the scheduling guidelines, and they make you feel they don't have the time to spend quality time to add important value to your visit. With the large health corporations, feeling rushed with the doctor is a given, and something I will not accept. Medicine, especially psychiatric medicine, has many variables that can affect the treatment plan. Having the time to ascertain and talk about the options is really crucial in my opinion. Having a psychiatrist that really listens and pays close attention to your concerns is something that I repeatedly receive from him. That is… just some of the positives with his practice. As a patient, I am thrilled with his ability to get back with me quickly. Recently I was struggling with the right sleep aid and he was responding daily to me thru his portal. That alone is fantastic, and I really like his portal. I have had him call me in regards to the need to make quick changes. He is cautious, but open to change. I feel my mental health is protective and safe under his experienced wing. There has never been a doctor in my lifetime that has ever been so communicative . I just hope he knows how much I appreciate him for this. He is so warm and friendly. It's a visit I look forward to, and that has not been the case with past psychiatrists. He is an excellent 'scientific' physician, and is frequently sharing studies that he must be researching or looking up drug/organ interactions. He is one smart guy. Honestly, Dr. Deberrerry has it all, and I hope you can see why I am so fortunate to have him for my psychiatrist.

I trust my mental healthcare to Dr. Derryberry. He is incredibly knowledgable but also kind and gentle. He has a caring spirit and is very engaged and attentive. He listens to me and respects my feelings. I have seen several different mental health providers in the past, and Dr. Derryberry is the only one with whom I have felt truly comfortable.

My overall experience with Dr Derreberry was great. Appointment was easy to make. He kind and considerate of my problems.

Do not feel that the visits are helping. Also feel that I need fewer visits. Feel like he is just taking my money for no reason. No change each time.

Changed medications frequently and didn't give my body tine to adjust or derox.
