Dr. Todd Wilson Dunn, PhD

I would not recommend dr.Dunn. In fact I would strongly caution anyone dealing with him. I allowed him to speak to a family counselor that was seeing my children, me, and my ex. He misstated what the counselor said and quoted her for several items. I sent his quotes to the counselor and she gave a written statement that those were not the things she said. He misstated things that I said to him and some that were In written statements. He seems to do whatever he wants and if you challenge it he says it is based on his data or interpretation. He quoted the kids saying things they said they didn’t say, and he came up with his “ own” parenting plan that happens to match what my ex wanted and none of the statute. Please read the other reviews and you will see that this seems to be the way he operates. There are negative reviews from the people who hit more time. I wish that I had researched him before I agreed to have him as an evaluator.

Custody evaluator that doesn't go to sources for information. Claimed that he was basing decisions on data, but failed to collect all data. His objective is to create extra conflict so that parents will continue to need lawyers, courts, and co-parenting mediators for the rest of their lives, thus lining the pockets of himself and those in this niche market. My daughter was placed with her mother even though he had court documents forcing her to remain in therapy for ongoing period. Ex-spouse suffers from multiple mental health challenges. Daughter was subsequently physically abused by her step-father that he claimed was safe and had no concerns about. I now have custody, but after spending multiple thousands on this so called 'psychologist' I now have to spend additional thousands getting my daughter treatment for the trauma that I said she would be subjected to if he didn't help her.

I have a complicated medical diagnosis, of which Dr. Dunn admitted he knows very little, basically nothing, about. I was forthcoming and honest, as we are asked to do, when a person commits to a custody evaluation. Dr. Dunn refused to speak to any of my medical providers, my employers, the directors of the volunteer clinics, I have worked providing free medical care, and the people who have witnessed my parenting of my children since I gave birth. I had greater custody of my children and Dr. Dunn "switched" custody based on his BIASED opinion. His opinion is clearly discrimination of someone with a diagnosed disability. I have a professional licensure, have a driver's license, pay taxes, and have background checks to work, since I work with and prescribe medications for children and adolescents professionally; all since being diagnosed with a medical condition. Dr. Dunn did not report my 'incompetency" to DOPL, but should if he believes I am a threat to the safety and wellbeing of… children! He has a professional responsibility to report me to DOPL, because I am a licensed provider. Did he? "No" because his opinion is not legally sound and would not hold up to a DOPL investigation. I have read hundreds of psychological evaluations and his lake of interest in gathering information and providing an "unbiased" opinion is blatant. I've complained to the Disability Law Center, Brain Injury Alliance, and ALL my medical providers. They ALL agree that Dr. Dunn has demonstrated an unjust discrimination. I can'tell wait to explore this in court. I paid $5,000 for nothing! I have the professional background to challenge his incompetence as a custody evaluator and look forward to it in court! Complete violation of Americans With Disabilities Act. Did he not get training about disabilities in his PhD training? I'don't give him an "F" for being foolish and succoming to the greed of profit vs. doing a thorough and complete job, which his licensure holds him to.

I have found Dr. Dunn to be honest and fair.He was our custody evaluator and he was neutral and impartial with a deep insight. His recommendations were reasonable(not lopsided) and his interviews/examinations were thorough and comprehensive.He is respectful,sensitive, understanding and keeps the child's best interest in mind

Dr. Dunn was assigned our case and did an awful job as a custody evaluator. He took little to no time actually evaluating or listening to anything. He listened and was fed a bunch of lies that ended up breaking apart our family across state lines. He did not stand up for any kind of father's rights or equality. I thought these people were supposed to look out for the benefit of the kids? How is separating them from their father for the rest of their lives beneficial in any way? He took several months to even schedule appointments and the time spent was extremely rushed and not thorough at all. It was only ever about money. Steer clear and never use as a custody evaluator

This 'Dr' is currently under investigation fromt the Utah Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing. Please be advised that in submitance of said services from Mr. Dunn, you will be subjective to dishonest, unethical, and highly ineffective methods of therapy.

Todd Dunn should not have the title "Dr." because he is so unprofessional. He comes in to a situation with a decision already made. If you are a man and you want sympathy, go see Todd. If you are a woman hoping for fairness, check out other psychologists. He is a joke and his license should be revoked.

Since there wasn't a option for 0 stars I couldn't rate effectively. He is totally incompetent. Take children's lives in his hands and ruins them.
