Dr. Todd Howard Katzman, MD

I had a hip replacement with this Dr less then 3 years ago and now I having more issues with my same hip he worked on and now have knee problems. He needs to be more attentive to his patients and follow up on post op appointments.

The most non caring staff I have ever dealt with in a medical setting. Of they are so rude and cold towards the patients and the doctor accepts their behavior then it represents the professionalism of the doctor as well. I've been in pain for quite some time. I had to wait a considerable amount of time for the appointment and then the woman at the front desk gave me a lot of attitude when I told her that it wasn't a work related injury and that I had private insurance. I had the approval from my insurance company in my hand with the referral from my primary physician but she kept telling me that I didn't have an approval. My insurance is from the US Army and when I called they stated that I did not need the referral to see doctor Katzman, that my insurance would cover all costs but since my primary physician requested the referral, they had approved it and there was no reason for the office to deny my visit. When I explained this to the receptionist she refused to check with Tricare… and instead turned me away. After calling another orthopedist I will have to wait a few more weeks to start treatment I this passion that never ends. Thank you Mr. Katzman for wasting so much of my time!

Best doctor ever...

I actually really liked Dr. Katzman... my problem was with the accounting / reception. As we all know you are responsible to pay your co-pay almost as soon as you sign into an appointment. I mean, they don't let you through the door until you pay or make arrangements to be billed. My daughter was a new patient so I was busy filling out her paperwork when they called my name to pay my $40 co-pay. I paid cash and was then given a hand written receipt. Dr. Katzman was very thorough during his exam and then told us we needed to get an MRI and schedule an appointment to go over the results. Several weeks later I received a bill from their collections department saying I needed to pay my $40 co-pay. WHAT!!! I immediately called and asked if they had a numbered ledger that they issue the receipts with.... I pretty much got the run around that they had investigated and I did not pay at my time of the visit. (I had cleaned out my purse just a few days before and remember tossing the receipt… because it had been so long ago) I really feel that there is some embezzling going on of some sort and I just wanted to warn anyone visiting this doctor to be sure to keep all of your records because there is something not right going on there with his staff or as someone else reviewed on Yelp maybe insurance fraud.

This Dr. is an unbelievable liar. He was a referee Dr. for work comp and his report was full of lies. I can't even believe what was on that report. I wouldn't trust this guy with my worst enemy. I wonder how he sleeps at night.

Dr. Katzman was so wonderful. After my knee surgery I had no pain at all. My recovery was so fast, and I was back to normal in such a short time. He was so kind, and so professional and such an outstanding surgeon. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants the best possible results from their surgery.

For 5 months he said I had a knee problem. He had me go to PT for 4 weeks. No improvement. Now he wants 4 more weeks of PT and said its a pull muscle. Can't believe all this pain is a pull muscle for 5 months.

Dr. Katzman is a very nice docter, and very helpfull, the office staff is willing to help.

I wouldnt recommend him to anyone.he did my bunion surgery,with a terrible result.never available for emergencies call,always out of town.very poor care for patient;terrible an unprofessional practice. He made me miserable and I suffered a lot from pain and I had to redo the surgery.He shouldnt do that surgery just for the sake of money.

I broke my foot and was referred to this Doctor. I didnt need surgery but I dreaded going back for my follow up visits. Dr. Katzman just doesnt seem to care. His office staff dont seem to know what they are doing and 2 of them were arguing when I checked in. I always had towait longer than 30 minutes to be called and on the last day after waiting almost an hour, I opened the door so I could grap someones attention. Thats when I heard Dr. Katzman tell his office staff to just cancel the rest of his appointments because he has a slight headache. After waiting for almost an hour,his time spent with me was less than 5 minutes. He just let me talk with no eye contact from him and then he closed my file and told me that I was cleared and didnt need to make any more appointments. I will never go to this
