I was going to Dr Prochnow in Avalon, Florida office until last year. I had been seeing him over a course of 18 months and getting injections in my knee for osteoarthritis. It wasn't helping much so he suggested iovera. That worked great. As a matter of fact, l was able to walk again without pain. He said if worked we do it again in 4 months. So scheduled it and never recieved call to verify again. So was scheduled in Jan and May was hurting so much went in again. I brought up they never called to set exact day but month and he said bc lm only going to do for post knee but never called to inform me. Steroid shots did not work. So l again told him this. His reply was this, RUDELY. MAYBE IF YOU BOUGHT BETTER INSURANCE YOU COULD GET BETTER THINGS I CAN DO. bc he had mentioned shot that prob help but expensive. Hes full of himself and very rude. If l could afford better l would have had. Proves not all drs care. Obviously hes about $$$ and btw my insurance covered the iovera. He just… didn't care. Worst and rudest Dr ever. If good insurance be ok but if not best, watch out.

I had minor surgery to remove a ganglion cyst on my middle finger. Now it is swollen and twisted with arthritis. Similar surgery on my index finger several years ago resulted in a small dent.(different state) competent doctor.

Dr. Prochnow is a very smart man. I've seen him for multiple things and he is always right on. Nice to have such great care so close by.

Dr. Prochnow explained to me my choices without pushing surgery. I opted for total hip replacement 1st in Nov '16 2nd June '17. Pain is relieved quality of life improving! Very skilled physician, surgeon!

Donot go to him for worker comp! He will screw you over for your money. And will not fix what he said he will do. Now I have to have another surgery to repair that he didn't fix. Didn't see the patience spouse to let them know what going on. Nada he is so rude

Rude, condescending, arrogant and worst bedside manner I've ever experienced. He never let me finish one sentence. I cried when I left . Every time I tried to explain my pains he'd interrupt or just cut me off. He gave me a cortisone injection and ordered an MRI. Both my shoulders and neck are always in pain. Went to ER previously. They said pinched nerve. Procchnow laughed and said no it's not. I've never met this man before. Needless to say the MRI he ordered was for 1 shoulder only. Took a CD with me from MRI today because he made me feel like I was going to get zero help from him. I'm almost scared to go back. The staff were all very unhappy looking and acted as if they smiled they'd get fired. I think they just hated working for this man. I read the good and bad reviews. I'd like to say he was having a bad day, but I was having a good day til I met him and the staff.

DON'T USE THIS MAN, HE IS SCAMMING PEOPLE OUT OF WORKERS COMP. AND MISLEADING PATEINTS TO LINE HIS OWN POCKETS.

This quack is a horrible dr. I would never recommended this dr to anyone. Worst I've ever had

I love the way he explains things to me and I love his honesty. Florida got themselves a great Doctor!
