Dr. Todd Erik Samuelson, MD

Dr. Samuelson misunderstood a simple question that was asked and was very rude and condenscending in his reply. I was shocked that he was more concerned about his ego than in answering the legitimate question. Will not be going back.

I have been going to him since I moved from New York, and I can honestly say he is the best doctor I have ever had.

Everyone says he has no bedside manner and honestly I not there to make friends but I am there to get answers to my question witch he has no idea how to do. Had a total thyroidectomy my lbs came back cancer but he couldn't tell me in the post open visit he had to tell me in the hall like it was nothing. My first visit was for my surgery for my thyroid and walked out so confused about my nose . All he focused on was I had a crocker nose and he would fix it while I was in surgery after getting home and ready what his plans were for a septaplasty and reduction. And please let me say I have no issues with my nose nor was I there for my nose but walked out so confused and now 2 surgery scheduled. After speaking to my primary Dr he said the same thing I was thinking if it's not broke don't fix it. After having a very rough surgery he didn't care about my pain told me to take a sleeping pill and have a huge knot under my incision his answer was always it's acid reflux. He may be good… with leaving a minimum scar but other than that my experience was horrible. I'm 6 weeks out and still having issues and once he got paid he was doNE with me. I never leave a review but I wouldn't want anyone to have the experience I've had .

I think he recently changed offices and boy is there a huge difference! Much more efficient, the front desk ladies are so nice, and the wait time is better. I keep going back to Dr Samuelson because he is known to be the best in town, but I'm glad for the new office staff. Me and my sister see him for chronic sinus problems and we have both been so pleased. Dr Samuelson is compassionate and kind.

A few years ago I had my entire thyroid removed by Dr. Todd Samuelson of Fort Worth, TX. There is no noticeable scar. REALLY.Almost from the very day after the surgery! REALLY!!!I have since had other physicians look at my neck and say, "There is no way he took out a thyroid from that area!"But it is true! I could not be more pleased. In addition, Dr. Samuelson repaired a deviated septum on myself and my husband. We trust being in his care and in the care of his medical team.

I have taken all 3 boys of mine to see him and am always pleased. His personality seems fine, I am not there to be friends with him. He gets the job done, was attentive and has always been professional.

Followup with MDAnderson has proven Todd Samuelson did NOT do a total TE! Still had over 10% remaining and docs at MDA consider this a partial TE or sub-total TE. Samuelson did not perform what was prescribed - so i definitely had to have RAI.
