I participated in a study, which doctor sleshenger talked me into, that left a permanent scar and a big one at that on my arm. Not a happy camper with this guy. A different procedure would have left no scarring at all.

Great doctor and great staff. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I found the whole staff to be wonderful! Dr. Schlesinger was through and talked me through the entire exam. I had two biopsies performed - one was a precancerous spot and needed to be frozen which stung a little but was bearable. The other was a skin cancer which he removed. My scar has faded and blends in for the most part. I enjoyed finding out about the specials. I am going to try Botox next!

Dr. Schlesinger and his staff seemed to discriminate against me because I was a self pay patient. Doctor was EXTREMELY rude and rushed and obviously was not interested in working with me to help resolve my dermatological problem. The nurses also tried to persuade me to go ahead and purchase their in-office products, instead of writing me prescriptions, insisting that I wouldn't pay that much

Dr Schlesinger and a staff member would argue during procedures and we're not focused on the task at hand. They are poor listeners. They also want to sell you on fancy procedures which are "more elegant" but much more costly.

Dr. Schlesinger and his staff were so professional and knowledgeable I would highly recommend him and his office.

It was my first visit and unfortunately, the Botox procedure didn't work that well. I guess I was expecting the lines to disappear and for the cost, I was shocked when they didn't. I guess there are some folks that are not good candidates and I may be one of them. There was no followup so didn't know what to put on the rating except one star. However, I found the doctor and staff straight forward, not too chatty, and I believe that the doctor felt this proeedure would work. In general I note in Charleston, it's like a game with dermotologists competing against each other with discounts for botox and other products and procedures, which are offered every five months or so. I wish for the sake of patients that they would offer quality products that aren't so expensive as well as making it more affordable for the average person to pursue less invasive procedures to maintain healthy skin. Discounts, sales and other incentives to favor one over the other sets up something like the… gasoline price wars. Sell your products and procedures for less and focus on patient's needs, research, and marketing with attention on outreach - providing patients with information (research, etc) that can assist them in their decision-making process.
