Dr. Whitman suspected that I may have a functional paraganglioma. Rather than doing the necessary hormonal testing first, he decided to risk potentially subjecting me to a life threatening Catecholamine crisis with the biopsy. Had this been the case, my body would have been flooded with stress hormones that would cause a sudden and severe hypertension crisis. I’m not sure whether this was medical negligence on his part or incompetence. Furthermore I would steer clear of this provider, as I learned more about my case in one consultation with a good Oncologist, then I did over the course of five months working with Dr. Whitman. Dr Witman is always glad to see you, and he normally is quick to share a smile as he begins his assessment. He cares, and he shows this through eye contact, the sincerity in his voice, and he always asks to have him contacted if you need anything. I did and he was at home having dinner, and he called the pharmacy to correct what his staff over looked. it could have waited til the next day, and many other MD's would have let it, but NOT Dr Todd Whitman. He really cares, plus other MD's like him,so he will fit in well with all your other Doc's.

Dr. Whitman is young and very thorough. His bedside manner is outstanding, he is compassionate to the upmost. His expertise in the field of oncology is remarkable and he is not afraid to look further into a diagnosis. We can not say enough about this young doctor.
