Tokunbo Matthews, MD

Dr. Tokunbo Matthews is a pulmonologist with two decades of experience treating complex lung conditions. He earned his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and completed his residency training at Wright-Patterson Medical Center. Dr. Matthews furthered his specialized training through a fellowship at San Antonio Military Medical Center in 2012. He holds board certification in internal medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine and communicates with patients in English.

Dr. Matthews practices at Riverside Pulmonary and Sleep Specialists in Newport News, Virginia, and maintains affiliations with multiple hospitals including Saint Lukes University Hospital Bethlehem and Bon Secours Mary Immaculate Hospital. His clinical expertise focuses on managing chronic lung disease and COPD, including cases with additional health complications.
