Dr. Tom Elwood Kettler, MD

My experience with this office could not have been worse. I have been taking routine medications for decades for several very serious (but managed with medicine) conditions. Upon moving to the state, I knew the importance of finding a doctor to continue my care. When Dr. Kettler first visited with me he acted disturbed, upset, and perplexed. He seemed bothered that there was so many things that needed addressed. It was clear he was not prepared and had definitely not reviewed my chart. He also mentioned multiple times that the staff booked me for the wrong type of appointment. Fortunately, I still had several months of refills from my out of state AMAZING physician. However, Dr. Kettler let me know that he would take over filling my prescriptions as soon as I needed them and to let his office know. The first time I needed them, I had the pharmacy email the office. (normal procedure right???) Wrong. Finally, after two weeks of no response - - - I… called the office and they let me know that they don't take pharmacy requests. So, I requested them. And waited and waited and waited. They started denying my prescriptions. After I would call and get VERY UPSET, they would eventually approve them for one month. So disappointing. Then they would tell me that I needed to come in for another visit if I wanted more refills. Honestly, Dr. Kettler never diagnosed me with anything. He ran labs and only needed to continue my care. I'm not too sure why he needed me to come in monthly for a visit. Maybe the economy is hitting this office especially hard. This constant messing with my medications was cruel and horrific. Without my medications, I cannot drive or work (seizures) at risk for heart issues (blood pressure/cholesterol), serious sugar fluctuations (diabetes), and asthma. I NEEDED my medicine. I wasn't trying to seek out pain pills. I needed seizure pills. The game their office is playing isn't funny. It's serious and affects lives. I finally got in for a telehealth appointment with Dr. Kettler today and he agreed to give me a 3 month supply of my medications. And I should find another doctor. (obviously) I asked if he could prepare my chart/records so that I could pick them up and he said he wasn't sure what they even had. Really???? I am a nurse by trade - - - - and I would advise anyone to stay away from this office if you want considerate, honest, affordable, and attentive care.

Don't take time with patient

Iâ??ve utilized Dr. Kettlerâ??s services for more than 20 years. He has wisdom. He tells great stories. I trust him. If youâ??re looking for a quality practitioner, get you some Tom Kettler.

I've seen Dr. Kettler ever since I was very sick. He is very knowledgeable, kind and quick. Thanks Dr. Kettler!
