Doctor Tom Swanson started his dental education by graduating with honors from Jamestown Community College with an associate's degree in science. He then received his BS and doctorate from Stony Brook and a certificate of pediatrics from the University of Connecticut. He stayed on for a year to teach third and fourth year students and moved to Portsmouth in 1981 to start this dental practice.
Furthermore, Dr. Swanson served on the town council for two terms and was the president of the Civic Organization of the Portsmouth Rotary Club.
