I grew up in Hawaii and moved to Southern California for my fellowship training in infectious diseases and HIV in 1995. I joined Kaiser Permanente in April 2006. Prior to that I worked for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and in private practice. My hobbies include travel, film, and chasing after my two young sons.
