He is board certified in general surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Throughout his career, Dr. Brown has treated a high volume of complex cancer cases using both traditional and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic approaches when appropriate. In addition to his civilian practice, Dr. Brown served more than 20 years as a U.S. Army surgeon, including multiple overseas deployments. He held leadership roles as Chief of Surgery and Surgical Oncology Program Director and has trained many surgeons throughout his career.
