Summary
I am a pediatrician, a doctor who provides medical care for children. When I was a child, I used to get sick very often. My mother would take me to see a doctor three or four times each month. I had grown to be horrified of shots and of the doctor's office. When I grew up, I found that the way to conquer this terror was to become a doctor myself. I know what it is like to be afraid of visiting the doctor, and I can help members overcome this fear.
