Dr. Tsai was very kind and reassuring! He took time to show me the images of my eye he was looking at to diagnose and asked if I had any questions more than once. He came across very knowledgeable and professional.

Dr. Tsai is phenomenal!!!! I have never been more scared to do anything in my life. I’ve been practically blind since I was 12 and refused to get lasiq surgery because the idea of eye surgery was frightening. I just wore contacts and glasses. Then now at 49 I was told I had a horseshoe tear in my right eye. My optometrist got me in with Dr. Tsai the following morning at 8am. There was nothing I could do but face my biggest fear = laser eye surgery. When I met Dr. Tsai, he was cordial, kind, reassuring and listened to me. He’s funny and very good at distracting a patient but is also good at sensing if I was in pain or discomfort. Overall laser eye surgery hurt WAY less than I’d ever imagined. (I’m even considering lasiq now). I left Dr. Tsai’s office ecstatic that is what done. He was professional and thorough. I would 1,0000 times over recommend him to any of my friends and family!!!!! - Ali Alcamo

Dr. Tony Tsai has been my retinal specialists for about 6 years. He diagnosed my right eye blindness s a hole in my macular. My vision at the time was about 400. I could not see anything out of it. Dr. Tsai performed the surgery to close the hole. The surgery was a success. After my eye healed completely my right eye vision was 45. Miraculous! Not only is he a wonderful surgeon but he also explains everything and answers all your questions. I highly recommend Dr. Tony Tsai!

Dr. Tsai is a real pro and a very pleasant professional who performed a sight saving surgery on my left eye. Just three weeks later I’m healed and my sight has greatly improved. Many thanks goes out to his talents and I highly recommend him for anyone’s eye complications.

The Doctors, Technicians and Staff at Retinal Consultants are amazing. One of the best group of young professionals I have seen. In Chico I saw Hailey Daniels, Geovanni Garcia (who I think was in Sacramento, too) and Tabitha Smith. Dr. Chang and nurses and staff were terrific at the Center in Sacramento for surgery. I remember Jaime, Janet and Michael. All great Cindy in Surgery Scheduling - GREAT!

I was apprehensive about my diagnosis of a torn retina but Dr. Tsai was thoroughly professional and he readily inspired my confidence. He patiently and calmly explained every element of what had happened and how he was fixing it. Very impressed.

Dr. Tsai repaired the macular hole in my left eye. I was extremely apprehensive about the procedure. Dr. Tsai was extremely calming and understanding. The surgery and recovery went great. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Tsai for anyone with retinal needs.

Dr. Tsai is the nicest doctor I have ever met. I was so anxious for my appointment but he was reassuring, compassionate and so thorough and knowledgeable. The staff was great. There was a ton of imaging that needed to be done to make a diagnosis and that part was time consuming but each staff member was professional and efficient. I've been going to Dr.Tsai for three years. I went to him today and I have no follow-up appointment because the issue has been reversed by his treatment. I'm not giving five stars just because he cured my situation. I'm giving him a five stars because he was always very informative and pleasant. I never left the office not knowing exactly what was going on with my issue. I would highly recommend Dr.Tsai as well as the entire staff at Retinal Consultants in Modesto California.
