I had the displeasure of being her patient at a CityMD in Syosset NY. This doctor was rude, impatient and clearly incompetent in her diagnosis. I was suffering from an upper respiratory infection for 9 days, the symptoms were unbearable and warranted a visit. The physician summed up my pain as a biproduct of using Afrin. Although there were clear signs of a bacterial infection, sinuses inflamed, fluid in both ears and nose, dull aching pain in upper jaw and a respiratory cough, she indicated it was all due to my use of Afrin. She deemed it viral at best and sent me home. The next day I saw my primary as the symptoms worsened and he quickly prescribed an antibiotic, within 24-48 hours all symptoms subsided. This doctor needs more training and supervision in her diagnosis of patients. PATIENTS BEWARE OF HER!
