Dr. Tova Chava Koenigsberg, MD

Tova Koenigsberg, M.D. has served as the Division Chief in the section of Breast Imaging at Montefiore since 2003. She also serves as the Medical Director for Montefiores Advanced Imaging at the Medical Arts Pavilion and the Breast Imaging Center. A graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Koenigsberg completed her residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital, where she also served as chief resident. Following her fellowship in womens imaging at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Koenigsberg remained on staff as an attending radiologist. Dr. Koenigsberg serves as a board examiner for the oral board examination in Diagnostic Radiology, and is the panel chair from the Breast Imaging section of the national annual resident in-service examination. She is actively involved in teaching and training medical students, residents and fellows.
