If I could, I would rate 0 stars. Went in with lithium toxicity because my levels weren’t monitored, he refused to believe that it was not intentional and said she was a danger to herself and somehow managed to commit me. I was there 4 days beyond when the labs were clear and I felt clear headed again. Beyond that he was trying to get me sent to a different psyc facility even though other doctors and family members couldn’t understood why. Lastly, even though my husband was fully supportive of my medical care and explained what had been going on with me prior to coming to the Er but questioned the commitment, in no way did he raise his voice or threaten in any way, merely disagreed with it, so the doctor had him escorted out and I was not allowed any visitors and had my phone and what few possessions I had brought with me taken away. The rest of the time was spent with both myself and husband trying to get information about why everything was happening and trying to get them to listen,… while some nurses and doctor’s agreed fully and we’re sympathetic, since fender had signed on it they could not do anything to help. Let me make this crystal clear DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE ALLOW HIM TO TREAT YOU, he lashes out when apparently insulted and will not listen to you anything you or your family have to say. He absolutely is a perfect example of a doctor with a god complex. Side note: he also refused to speak to my husband what so ever, either in person or on the phone.
