Good experience

I was made aware that Dr. Hicks was being accompanied by another doctor, and student prior to anyone coming into the room so I had time to make the decision on my preference with someone sitting in on my exam. Before the exam, Dr. Hicks listened to my concerns, and came up with a gameplan tailored to my situation. Dr. Hicks was incredibly thorough with explaining her every move, and she checked in with me every few moments to make sure I was ok, without condescension or irritation. I was reassured and respected during the exam. Afterwards, Dr. Hicks went over the next steps and thoroughly explained what I was to expect moving forward.

I travel a long way for my provider because I like her and I don't want to have to find someone else.

Dr Hicks is very attentive to any concerns that I may have.

Unfortunately, I needed to call the on call doctor and got Dr Hicks. Never been talked to so rudely in my life! I am literally shaking I'm so mad. If Dr. Hicks didn't want to be on call, she should not have become a doctor!

Doctor was pushy, didn't ask questions, and then tried to do a biopsy with multiple doctors in the room without my permission. She then yelled at me for not relaxing and then billed me for an attempted biopsy.

Dr. Hicks has been my OB/GYN for the past 16 years. If I have remained with Dr. Hicks for 16 years, that alone says much. She delivered my daughter, she was with me daily while I was in the hospital on bed rest for 30 days. Always greeted me with a smile and very knowledgeable. Just recently, I had major surgery and Dr, Hicks was very understanding of all my "demands" prior to scheduling the surgery. She even offered to perform the surgery on her non-surgery days! I love her!! She performed my surgery, she was the absolute BEST. And she's personable and make it a point to get to know you and know you well!! I'm a huge fan of Dr. Hicks!
