Tracy Richmond, MD, MPH

Dr. Tracy K. Richmond, MD, MPH, is Chief of the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital and a professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Board certified in adolescent medicine, she specializes in caring for adolescents and young adults with expertise in obesity, eating disorders, preventive health, chronic disease management, and the long-term health outcomes of childhood illness and injury. Dr. Richmond earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her pediatric residency and adolescent medicine fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. She also earned a Master of Public Health degree from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Internationally recognized for her leadership in adolescent health research and policy, she has authored numerous studies focused on obesity prevention, trauma outcomes, and health disparities, and is known for her compassionate, multidisciplinary approach to supporting the …physical and emotional well-being of adolescents and young adults.
