Dr. Travis Michael Cosban, MD

I ended up in the ER in west Texas after my husband had an accident while we were camping. The facility in Alpine was small and unassuming but the care was the best I have ever seen. Dr. Cosban was unexpected, kind, caring and clearly very smart. He immediately made us feel at ease and made the whole experience pleasant. I never would have thought we would have come across such an amazing doctor while traveling and just had to take a moment to write this. I wish he was a primary care doctor so we could have him as our main doctor. He was just great.

Today I visited the ER in Mansfield, TX, with chest pain. I was seen quickly by Dr. Cosban and appropriate tests were ordered. I am a retired RN, and now a senior citizen. He made me feel comfortable right away, showing confidence, knowledge, and compassion. He even held my hand during placement of an IV because I was there alone. Thankfully, I was not having a heart attack and was able to go home. He is top-rated in my book, and I am pretty picky when it comes to doctors. Way to go, Dr. Cosban!

I could not be happier with my daughter's doctor. We were in El Paso visiting family and had an unexpected trip to the ER for an injury. He was kind and explained everything very well. He managed my daughter's broken arm without having to sedate her. We walked out with a cast and a slushie. Honestly, he was an angel on a day we needed one. El Paso is lucky to have him and I am thankful he is training students who will follow in his footsteps.

When my mother got COVID, we had to go to the ER. I was not allowed in due to restrictions but was amazed by how great the staff and doctor were with calling me to give updates. My mother needed oxygen and Dr. Cosban was able to arrange it for home. He outlined everything she would need and everything they gave her in the hospital. She got to go home and we had oxygen there within an hour. It was amazing. My mother managed to recover fully at home following his recommendations and did not ever need to go back to be admitted. This ER and its doctor were a god send in a very tough time. I am thankful for his service and hope he reads this one day.

Fantastic doctor. He saved my life and fixed a traumatic injury. He kept the entire visit positive and made me feel like I I would be ok. Greatly appreciated.

Dr Cosban took the time to walk me through everything after seeing me and updated me along the way. I knew what was happening and why. I was impressed and what cold have been a terrible with my pain was made manageable. I am grateful he was my doctor.

I was incredibly impressed with how well this doctor cared for my wife and explained everything to her when we went to the ER. He was kind, compassionate and somehow made what could have been an awful experience enjoyable. My wife is now out of the hospital and surgery and I could not be more thrilled with the care he provided. Thank you.

GREAT DOCTOR. I HAD A BEAM FALL ON MY HEAD. IT WAS HEAVY METAL AND CUT OPEN A LOT OF SKIN. HE FIXED ME FAST AND CHECKED BRAIN. MADE SURE I KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON AND MADE SURE TO FIX MY PAIN. I WAS IMPRESSED HE ALSO SCHEDULED MY FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT SO I COULD GET HAND CHECKED AND HAVE STITCHES OUT. VERY IMPRESSED AND WISH HE WAS NOT JUST IN THE ER.
