Dr. Travis Allen Holt, MD

I recently had my gallbladder removed by Dr. Holt and the experience was great (considering the circumstances). He spent plenty of time helping me understand my test results and why surgery was needed. He understood that I was anxious about having surgery and the extra time that he spent during my office consultation really made a difference. The office staff were all friendly and scheduling appointments was easy. The surgery and recovery went smoothly. I had zero complications and minimal pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Holt.

Dr. Holt is so professional and treats each patient with the utmost compassion and friendliness. His office is great to work with and work around your schedule instead of theirs. As someone who had never had any surgeries I was so appreciative of Dr. Holt walking me through the surgery before it happening and answering all my questions. On top of all of this I was so impressed with the after care him and his office took to heart. They called to check in and see how I was feeling and were so easy to work with when it come to medication refills and follow up appointments. Highly recommend Dr. Holt and was so pleased with my whole surgery process.

Dr. Holt did an amazing job in performing my gallbladder surgery! Excellent bed side manner, answered all my questions and never felt rushed, which i appreciated! The scars left are minimal if visible at this point! Great experience!

Dr. Travis Holt was my father’s surgeon when my father needed emergency colostomy surgery. It was a very frightening night, and Dr. Holt was there and ready to go. After surgery he came into the room, sat down, and explained everything that had happened. His explanation was precise and in terms that we could understand. My father had the best care he could have possibly received. We completely trusted Dr. Holt from the beginning of this experience up until the final discharge appointment. Not only does our family feel Travis Holt is a brilliant surgeon, we feel we acquired a friend for life. My family is eternally grateful for the God given talents of Travis Holt.

I would like to suggest better post op instructions for your pt. Leaving the Hospital. Written in their discharge instructions:ok to use ice,(this really helps) what kind of laxative to use if needed, Sitz bath prn.may experience a lot of pressure for a few days (this is normal) may not feel u are back to normal for a couple of weeks...also “tucks “really came in handy .........ty, Rozanne Cartero
