Dr. Travis Von Tobel, MD

Staff and office seems ok, but when it came to diagnosing the doctor spent all of maybe 5 minutes speaking to me and said, “trust me! You will get your life back!” As a mom, being desperate for a solution for the chronic pain, I said, “OK”…I was never shown anything saying there could be serious side effects…immediately after the fact…not the PA or ARNP or the MD himself wanted to take responsibility for a mistake and I ended up in the hospital for 8 days. This isn’t even far from being over. The pain is crippling and this place is to blame..

I needed a specialist for spine injuries and head or TMI injuries for workers compensation. I chose to travel an hour and a half to Dr. von Tobel in Tampa to help me with a fall that hurt my neck, back and head. That was the best decision I made. I have been so happy with the care that I have received. Dr. von Tobel is the best in his field and has exceptional bed side manners. I am always treated with such kindness. He takes time to explain and answers ALL my questions. They file all the workers compensation paperwork that is required on my case. He makes sure he is giving me the best care possible. I came to him with many problems and he has created a care plan for each one of them. I have researched the information he provided on my care and medical reviews and he has been right-on-point. I have seen that he stays current in his medical field to help his patients recover to their fullest. I have benefited from his determination to help each patient find their way back to the life… before their injury. In addition, he has chosen to have staff with the same care he provides. The staff are very knowledgeable, kind and very patient. I have personally received exceptional care from Jackie, Cheryl, Racheal, Jennifer, and Shannon. My accident has left me with many problems that will need spine and head treatments. It is a blessing that their office is equipped to provide me with all the different types of therapy I need to recover. I would recommend my loved ones or anyone else that needs this care to see Dr. Travis von Tobel.

Advertised on drug help center that he specialized in drug addiction treatment for suboxone at his Hilliard office I called and told nurse MTV situation I have been struggling to get help with my addiction to suboxone and to wing down the nurse put me on hold and came back and said I needed to go to e.r. they couldn't help me

Not always on time, very busy and takes his time explanations are on point. Staff is very congenial and helpful. Very Genuine and knowledgable. I just had a procedure done that I had done by another Dr and another city. Dr Von Tobel handled it with great care .his assistants are very nice too.

I was initially happy with the staff and Dr. von Tobel. The staff was professional and nice. I was taken relatively on time for my consultation appointment and for the epidural injections in my spine. Dr. von Tobel was excellent. However, there was a problem with my follow appointment. I was called into the exam room 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment, which was fine because 15 minutes late is considered on time for a doctor. The nurse said the doctor would be "right in." I proceeded to wait 45 minutes in the exam room and Dr. von Tobel did not come to speak with me. I went out of the room and asked how much longer it would be before the doctor would see me and did not get an answer from one of the nurses. I said I was in a lot of pain because I was sitting in the exam room for 45 minutes, which is not something that is good for back pain. I told the nurse that it was insensitive and disrespectful for the doctor to keep a patient waiting so long and I was… leaving. And then the nurse asked me "would you like to reschedule?" I said "Are you kidding me? I am not going to come back here and have the same thing happen." I got no apology for the wait time from that nurse or from anyone else in the office. No one came into my exam room and apologized for the wait. I would like an apology from Dr. von Tobel. No one should have to wait in an exam room for 45 minutes for a less than 5 minute follow up appointment.

An absolute pro right here. Truly cares about his patients, the whole staff was outstanding. Was extremely nervous for a procedure and everybody did everything to make me feel extremely comphortable. Best expierence I have ever had with a health professional.

Dr Travis and his staff are tremendous. He communicated throughout my entire procedure. Really top notch care. Very happy during a hard procedure. Many thanks
